Haka Grain Free Banana Bread

This has, by far, been the most popular recipe I have ever put out there. It uses no additional sweetener of any kind and no grain flour. Everyone who tastes it wants me to make them one…. but I prefer to empower you :-)

Haka Banana Bread

Paleo and Delicious

 

Ingredients:

4-5 Large Bananas

½ C Almond Butter- I never measure this and it's likely closer to 3/4 C :-)

2 Eggs

1 tsp Baking Soda

¼ tsp salt

a healthy couple dashes of Cinnamon

1 heaping scoop Vanilla Protein Powder* or 3 Tbsp Almond Flour

1/4 C Coconut Flour- a generous 1/4 C

Directions:

Preheat oven to 315*

In a blender combine bananas, almond butter, eggs, baking soda, and salt. Pulse and blend until smooth. Add cinnamon protein powder and Coconut Flour. Blend until smooth.

Pour in greased Bread Pan and bake 45-60 min until desired doneness.

* I use the protein we sell at Haka because it is super clean without added fillers. You want as few ingredients as possible and ours has 5. You could also use Great Lakes Gelatin and add a tsp of vanilla extract.

* After you've made it a few times, you can stop measuring. It doesn't have to be exact.

* I set my oven on Cook and Hold at 315* for 55 min. My oven then turns off and I just let the bread sit in their.
