I'm wide open about my foot obsession. I mean, after a full reconstruction with bone removal on the left and some wires and screws on the right I suppose I am justified. When I am looking for shoes, I have some serious criteria and I DO NOT COMPROMISE.

Or life might just get complicated with sick family members, financial issues, or a complete work overload. If you aren’t ready for it, this lack of motivation will wallop you right upside the head and you’ll fly right off the exercise train. When you finally come to your senses (however long that might take), the uphill climb back to the starting line can break you, literally and figuratively. With an Emergency Action Plan in place, you can bob and weave and avoid the whole fiasco.

“Hey, no worries,” I replied. “You are definitely not alone. Maybe you should rethink exercise.”
It’s not the best sales pitch, especially since I have made the choice to own a gym and make a living (sort of) in the health and fitness industry. But I vowed long ago to give people truth, to empower people to find their journey in this whole mess. If you are struggling with your exercise gig, maybe it’s time to rethink exercise yourself.
